Connie's Canine Rescue

Connie's Canine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based dog rescue serving North Alabama and partnering with adopters throughout the southern United States and New England. Founded by an experienced rescuer with years of animal welfare work, the organization is dedicated to giving homeless, abandoned, and neglected dogs a second chance through compassionate foster care and carefully matched adoptions.

Rather than operating a traditional shelter, Connie's Canine Rescue relies on a network of foster homes where dogs receive individualized care while waiting for their forever families. Foster families help each dog adjust to life in a home, allowing the rescue to learn about their personality, behavior, and needs so they can be matched with the right adopter. Every adoption is focused on creating lasting, successful placements that benefit both the dog and its new family.
