Creating Hope for Paws

Creating Hope For Paws is a nonprofit, foster-based animal rescue founded in 2023 that serves Athens, Limestone County, and the surrounding North Alabama area. Their mission is to provide a safe place for abused, abandoned, neglected, and orphaned animals while helping them find loving forever homes. The organization relies on community support through adoptions, foster homes, volunteers, donations, and wish list purchases to continue its lifesaving work. They also operate Mimi & Macy’s Thrift Store, with proceeds helping support the rescue’s mission.
