Forgotten Felines, Inc.

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated exclusively to improving the lives of cats throughout the Huntsville area. Their mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned cats, reduce the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and place adoptable cats into safe, loving forever homes. Through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and compassionate care, Forgotten Felines works to create a better future for both owned and community cats.

The organization operates entirely through dedicated volunteers and foster homes, providing medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and socialization before each cat is adopted. In addition to rescuing friendly homeless cats and kittens, Forgotten Felines plays an important role in managing local feral cat populations through its TNR program. Cats that are healthy and suited for outdoor life are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their communities, while cats that are injured, sick, or social enough for indoor living are placed into foster care until they find permanent homes.

There are many ways to support Forgotten Felines and the cats in their care. Community members can:
